Some of us are new to long-term care, while others are seasoned professionals. Most of us share space with people living with memory loss and think we have a pretty good understanding of what it is, but when confronted with questions from families, or are put in a position to be supportive, some of us struggle for answers.
This presentation will explain the basics of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, teach you person-centered approaches that you can pass along to other care partners, family, and friends of your residents to avoid what many call " behaviors."
Midland Pioneer Coalition serves Clay, Effingham, Fayette, Jefferson, and Marion counties
