The Midland Pioneer and Illinois Pioneer Coalitions are pleased to offer this important educational opportunity to long-term organizations who are vested in providing quality eldercare. The nursing home industry is changing!
The baby boomer population is demanding that we critically examine how we provide our services. Our customers are becoming empowered and want to be more involved in their care choices in a proactive manner. Through their presentation, information will be shared to encourage nursing homes to partake in the Culture Change journey, so they embrace person directed care practices.
- To discuss the changing long term consumer and their needs
- To disseminate information to the long-term care community about the Consumer Awareness Grant received by the Illinois Pioneer Coalition
-To provide the Nursing Homes with the information packet that the community will be using during tours at their buildings.
